Putting together two new combos for River fishing Smallies and Trout. Started with two Shimano Stratics and paired one with a 6.9 Vendetta ML action X-fast tip. The other one I paired with a 7 Foot Medium action Fast tip. The 6.9 I am thinking 6# test the 7 foot Probly go with 8-10#.. Anybody here have any Vendettas? So far I have heard great feedback but have never fished with one.
Jerry

The Vendettas are good rods for the price. I think you'll be happy with them. There were a couple things I would've changed, but I couldn't ask for much more for the money.
Congrats on the new Combos! BB

Vendettas are quite nice rods for the price. A bit tip heavy, but that's to be expected. I would have maybe spent the money they put into bling in other areas, but it's a good rod. Good sensitivity and backbone.
