Officially "PAID" to fish
Well gang I never thought it would happen. I have officially become a paid fisherman. We do a State of Florida Firefighters Bass Tour every year, so this year I decided to run the hole circuit. Made a phone call and things started snowballing. I am now officially sponsored by: The Zachary project Foundation, BoldWater TV, Liquid Camo.com, Dicks Sporting Goods. Also, after receiving a phone call from by main sponsor, possibly Space Coast Credit Union and Strikezone.
The boat is getting wrapped with camo and sponsor decals and my truck will have the new camo skinz Real tree flame job done to it also w/ sponsor decals. The rear window and tailgate will also be done in sponsor decals. The reason for the flame job is to tie in me being a fireman and the ff tour. To top it off my main sponsor wants to do this for three years and sent me a contract to finalize it. Needless to say I am stoked, a little nervous, but walking around with a smile on my face. First FF tourney is March 24, also entered into the BPS Spring Fishing Tourney on March 14th. Got a lot to do in 8 days but they tell me that the wrap and team shirts, etc. will be ready by then. Will try and keep everyone posted as things progress.

FF, big deal,,,,,,,I have been paid for years. I asked my wife if she wants to fool around. She tells me to go fishing, I say, I'm broke, can't afford gas or bait. She says take the money from her purse. I figure I make money EVERY day!
Oh and congrats on your making it to the BIG!!! Quote:

Good luck on your tourney.
I came in second on Grees Ferry last year in one of our firefighter tourneys but I don't think that will get me any sponsors or the truck or boat wrapped (maybe with toilet paper). Good luck again
