Ok, tackle questions and/or ideas
http://www.slideoffweedguard.com/
Slide-off weed guard I was watching the 2011 Elite recap and Davey Hite won, fishing a swim-bait on a jig-head with an exposed hook. Said that was the key to his winning the tourney. The feel was better without a buried hook and head. Was fishing after and with like 10 other pros and they all went elsewhere cause they couldn't get fish. Got me thinking.....SCAREY! I'm thinking great for rocks in vegetation amongst other ideas. Plus rigging tubes weedless. This is the reason it caught my eye. Currently I texas rig them for weedless applications, this would be better I think. http://www.gilmoretackle.com/whirleybird.html Now this one, wouldn't the blade effect hook set? I do like the angle of the jig line tie eye though. http://www.wigglefin.com/how_to_rig_bass_lures.html I'm thinking...DEADLY with a fluke and maybe a worm and probably even a swim-jig. http://www.lftlures.com/categories/t...barrel-weights I'm thinking great for getting a better feel of the bottom terrain when carolina rigging. Tungsten really does give alot better feel plus more noise. Noise I'm just taking their word for. Now I can get any or all of them for a $1.99 plus like $3 shipping regardless of order amount. So what do you anglers think? Anyone use any of these? If so, what do you think?
