I guess I'll put this in bragging cuz my daughter rocks!!! We never even seen a fish,...I still win !!! Not sure if this facebook post even transfers....

Looks like a great day on the water for sure. Great pics and keep her on the water so she stays out of trouble.

Look forward to hearing how it goes. Kids learn quickly for sure. All I told my daughter was to stop the spool from spinning before the lure hits anything with her thumb. She did the rest. Keeping it simple made it easy for both her and me.

The first thing she said after her first cast was, "Papi! This is so much easier to use than the other (i.e., spinning) kind of reel." Now all I can say to that is, "That's my little girl!" She was 6 1/2 then and 11 now, and she's still not a mall rat.
