Well it would be a glorified water garden, but it could be done. Probably be better if it was gunnite and not a linered pool. It wouldn't really be something to fish so much as a pool with nasty water and bass in it, but hey. A lot of us are crazy enough to kind like the idea.

haha when i grow up, im going to end up doing something like this... if i graduate from harvard i probably will end up being able to afford it... therefore giving me fishing time every day if i choose... unless someone is dying really early or really late

Cranky, I think if you graduate from Harvard you might be better off to buy a house on a lake and keep a boat there, easier and more area than a pool. Most pools I have seen are pretty small for a pond.

Think of the skeeters...you couldn't use tap water to fill it..Course you are in Texas, yall are so tuff you probably don't chlorinate anyway.

Uhh. Im not harvard material but now (correct me if im wrong) don't fish adapt to the size of there enviroment. Because if they do in a pool your gonna have some tiny fish. Could be very entertaining though..

depends on the size of the pool. I've poured concrete on many a LARGE pool. I don't see the point though..if you're gonna dig a hole for a pool, just make it a pond instead?

yeah thats a good point, but what if the pool is already there when you buy it?
if your getting something made make sure you put stuff on te bottom structure like random drops... note em down so you can find fish more easily.

one year my friend didnt open his pool so we threw all the bass and bluegills that we caught from the resivour down the street in. then whenever we go new lures we tested them out in there. to see how to fish them best. it was actually really cool, until he opened the pool next year

whats the point in throwing a fish in a pool and catching it? its like buying a gold fish, throwing it in a puddle, foul hooking, and being happy..really no challenge but thats just my opinion...

One Time At Band Camp, All Of Us Caught Like A Million Fish And Put Them In The Toilets. Then We Caught Them Using Hooks Made From Paper Clips. I Caught The Biggest One, Like 10 Pounds. Come on, I capitalized this entire paragraph!!!!

I test all my new lures in the pool to make sure they are running right. You can really fine tune them in this way!
