Default Lake Is need of Rain *PICS*

So its been raining as much as a fisherman things about fishing! But still with that one of the lakes that i fish is at an all time low that i have seen it.

This was interesting to see b/c when I used to head back from one side of the lake when i had my boat i would troll 2 poles through these depth changes from the fish finder.

RB, I noticed around here over the years that when a pond or lake drys out for a significant amount of time, it has trouble holding water again with any significant amount of rainfall. Maybe it is something with the soil chsnges from drying out? I don't know. We had a 5 acre pond and it dried out completely, and now it will not hold water anymore.

Wow, that is low. but the good news is you can see a lot more of the structure and cover of the lake. I'd go around and find the likely-looking spots for when the water comes back up. And if you can, move some stuff around to make some cover.

Really???!?!?

We've been having lots of rain down here! My lake was really low at least 10' lower than normal, and with the rain we had the last month, the lake is back to normal levels as of Thursday, and we've had rain since than too, so we're probably a little over!

Well, I hope you guys get some more rain to get the levels back up!

btw, I can't see the pics?

We are going to start, we need to find some new spots. Gators have been giving us troubles lately in our spot. Can we use a trolling motor powered Jon boat there? There must be a ton of Bass there since you can't take any of them. Maybe we can share our special spots with eachother. There is 2 Tarpons at our spot too, almost got one Sat.

Ya I know what you mean, you can be driving on one road and it's raining, than turn the corner and it's sunny!

You need what happened to Miami on Sunday, I heard they flooded!
