Really cool. I have seen other cool stories with the gulf current before, but nothing like that. Thanks

I imagine after 3 years insurance paid off on it and spain is welcome to it,had it been Tn they would want the owner to claim and pay fines towing ,storage and for environmental cleanup.
If sealed bottles can cross in 3 years why not a boat.Just think if you hung onto the capsized hull in three years someone will find you. Kevlar from the looks of it yes will clean up,but bet the foam is waterlogged. |

This is primarily for folks that go offshore. When I was doing yacht deliveries for a living, there were a couple of maxims that one learns to live by. The first is: If you fall off the boat (especially at night) you WILL die. And the second one is: never get into a life raft until you have to step UP into it.

Those two guys beat the odds, swept overboard not jumped.both made it to shore, one with a heart condition.
Oddly though the cg should have swept that area fully, and even capsized someone should have spotted it along the eastern seaboard, prior to its venture on across.Or then again along the way 3 years is a long time floating without it being found, must have made a pit stop in the bermuda triangle got warped over there finally. |
