woody's introduction
I just wanted to say hello to everybody on this Board!!!
What can I say, I have a strong passion for fishing just like the rest of you. I can say that I've gained alot from what you have shared with me. And I hope to return it with a little bit of me. woody |

Welcome to the forum!
As my fellow bass addicts and tackle junkies have stated, you don't have to be crazy to hang around here, but it helps!

I'm one of the guys no doubt that the regulars are sending you PMs about warning you to watch out for. I just want to let you know its not me, its the medication, dont take it personal.
And welcome!

I sure do appreciate the warm welcomes, oh yeah and the warnings too!!!
Just to show ya how much fishing has warped my mind... I recently planned to sell my crowline openbow, then, turn around and buy a bassboat. But no!!!, I found a '99 skeeter ZX185c w/150 yamaha vmax, very fast!!! only asking $9500. I knew I could'nt wait to sell the crownline, the Skeeter would not last, I went out on a limb, most of you guys probably would have done the same, to most it made no sense at all, but to us bass addicts it made all the sense in the world!!! Oh yeah, I've since sold the crownline for what I was asking... Thanks again for the welcome!!! woody |

Welcome aboard Woody. Hope you enjoy yourself here. Just do us one favor. Please don't bring up the favorite line question. Oh what a can of worms that always opens!

Hey woody, get this..
you know that last point up north that had the poured concrete stone/slabs on the bank? some guy at work was fishing all day in the mouth of big eli and we trades notes on the day, and he commented that the poured concrete was done years ago due to an Indian burial grounds/cemetery right there...the lake was built over many small towns and cemeteries, they are marked on the maps..but I never knew or had seen it before wed up north with you..a little history huh |
