I have a higher loyalty to quality and value than America. America is not God or family, it is a political state that I live in. When I can I try my best to better this state, and should my family ever be threatened I will fight in the name of this state, but I don't need to act as if the state is end-all be all that makes society and life what it is. People matter to me more than America. And the people who make the foreign cars very often do a fine job, not to mention many foreign cars are actually still made in America (Mercedes produces their SUVs in Tuscaloosa Alabama, actually).

It's actually Daimler AG, moose. Hasn't been Daimler-Benz since 1998, when they bought Chrysler, forming DaimlerChrysler AG.
Mercedes is a division of Daimler. Chrysler is owned by Cerberus Capital as of August last year. http://money.cnn.com/2007/05/14/news...sale/index.htm Congratulations. I work for Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes doesn't own Chrysler. Daimler sold off Chrysler (actually they took a big loss to get rid of it) last year because Chrysler was losing so much money for them. Is it just me or does this not sound right... That's be like going to the Maumee River or Detroit River and the Game Warden being like, "Eh, I don't care if you go out and snag some walleye." I'm not trying to start anything, but it just sounds a little fishy. (no pun intended)

This thread is all over the place. It seems like there are 3 different conversations going on at once. I can't decide which part to respond to. In any event, nice musky.

We've got a huge Jeep plant here in Toledo. So I know they're made here. Too bad they don't make a truck. that'd be pretty cool. still my dream trcuk is a big Chevy Silverado. But Thats way, way far off, if it'll ever happen. They're pretty expensive so I'll most likely be getting a used Colorado or Dodge truck. BB

Yep...
Started out flingin' the Shakey Head around that timber in the picture with a 7" Berkley Gulp! Turtleback Worm, Junebug, and hooked up with an 8" dink, lol. Got him to the boat and he spit the worm - yes worm, not hook. After that I switched over to the spinnerbait as shallow cover with a spinnerbait is my groove. First cast I catch the 14", next cast I catch the 18". The big boy wrapped me three times but the 12-pound Floroclear really worked it. Thanks for that line recommendation, Reb! Proceeded to get two more taps but no hook-ups. -Buzz |

Haha, mom said if i get a full scholarship to an ivy league school, the money she saves on tuition goes to a brand spankin new car, and chances are it will be some insane luxury foreign car. I can't help but love a nice ride. Maserati possibly. Although the thought of a full ride to Ivy league is almost as realistic as me finding a billion dollars lying on the floor.
