what rods are cheap, strong, and dependible?

Just like Reb said...Berkley Lightening Rods......hold up well and run about 34 dollars at Wal Mart.....also having good luck with Cabela's Tour Guide rods at 39.95...... All of the above mentioned rods are spinning rods concerning the type I have.

shakespear are cheap but very dependable rods and reels for the price

The Excursions by Shakespear are great rods for the price!

Depending on action and length, Bass Pro has many rods on sale for $20. I'm ordering a 5'6" microlite for 20 since my partner broke mine.

well everyone says that excursion are good,let me tell you what i think.it was my first baitcaster,a shakespere,40 dollars,then i got a excursion for 20.
it didnt break until last week.so it lasted about a year.and one more thing,the ugly stick is good,but its just what its named,ugly!
