Default Rooster Tail Bass!

Last pictures I posted on this site was a few months ago, they were all tiny 6" to 11" Bass (plus a Warmouth!) that we caught on 1/8oz Rooster Tails and one was caught with a small curly-tailed grub on a jig-head with a safety-pin spinner. Well this is what we (actually my partner!) caught with his lucky 1/8oz Rooster Tail...

It's a 15" Largemouth Bass. He was reeling in his 1/8oz Rooster Tail mid-depth in an algae & hydrilla filled lake. Every cast or two, he was pulling off weeds from the spinners' treble. He was reeling this lure in and then he just couldn't reel anymore, he thought he had a large patch of grass. Then the "grass" starts moving and makes a nice little jump close to the bank. This is his first keeper Largemouth.

He didn't catch another thing the rest of the day.

I remember when I was young and fishing for trout. I used to get pi$$ed off when a bass hit them.

If you can't catch one on a rooster tail try a H and H.
