March 28th Report
Wind was howling and cold as a well diggers feet. While in the launch area our two boat crew looked cold already. Well I decided to call an audible on this trip and see if could wake up some sleepy cats from some deep holes on Mattawomen Creek. Out of the wind and in the sun warmed us up nice as we dropped baits right on top them.. Should have hit them in the head. A nibble but not bites and after 4 hours it was getting colder.
So we headed for my rib shack, my treat. Darn good ribs and chicken. Capt Mike Capt Dave
