Bad weather

There's been some damage in my hometown, Vicksburg, MS, from strong storms this morning, possibly tornadoes. Trees down, cars picked up and put onto sidewalks, roofs torn off. No injuries yet, I don't think.
And it's coming this way, now. Yay....

Dang, this spring is starting off on the wrong foot - just like last year, just a bit earlier.
Hope you fare ok, and that storm blows itself out.

Well, its basically over for us. I think the rain will stick around till tomorrow, but the wind and tornado chances are done. Everybody I know is fine, although one friend in Vicksburg had a tree fall on her poolhouse, and actually knocked it off its foundation. That's the only real damage that anybody I know had.
Ironic thing is, my mom had come and gotten Caitlyn this morning to keep her till Friday while Louann works her night shifts. Guess where my mom and dad live? My hometown of Vicksburg, of course....lol.

glad everyone is ok daniel. watche dthe weather here, rain is coming but they ain't talking about BAD weather, jsut rain. i HOPE we have had our really bad weather for a while. LORD knows we don't need more tornados.

Flea said it got pretty rough around our house too. She said a tornado was spotted in Baxterville about 15 miles from the house and the sirens were heard sounding in Hattiesburg.

Daniel I had forgot you lived in Vicksburg. I lived there from 79 until 86.
