Some doodle art.
I found some renewed interest in sketching/doodling for myself recently, and I decided to do some old skool "Fink" art, that I used to do alot of when I was young.....Figured I'd share it with guys that might appreciate it....lol....Its not fully complete, as I've still got to color the background and water before I can call this one done but you guys get the idea....

I remember back in the 60's Topps had them on bubble gum cards. Very cool. Would make a heck of a t-pshirt.

Yes I haven't seen or thought about that style in a long time. Some of the local kids used to do muscle cars in that Finkish way. Reminds me of a caricaturist(sp) who accidentally ate the wrong kind of mushroom
This isn't a good example, just a quick pull from google images...I've seen some great ones though. Try a kick-a$$ bass boat-might be fun.

Thats soo sick! Definitely reminds me of some sweet rat rod drawings. My buddy is a tattoo artist and does a lot of rat rod stuff, I love it
I wish I had those skills to be able to draw like that. You should work on some other concepts with bass fishing and this style of drawing. I think itd be some cool stuff! |

I'm glad you guys like it....I've got more "Fink fishing" as well as some other offbeat fishing ideas rollin around in my noggin just waiting to spill out onto paper....lol. And if all goes well, by years end, the ability to get my artwork printed onto shirts and other stuff might be a real possibility.
Yes, I was highly influenced by Ed "Big daddy" Roth's Ratfink characters, as well as Ed Trosley's Cartoon style art as a kid, and used to draw this stuff non-stop thru high school. Recent events have given me inspiration to create some of this old skool lowbrow style art again.....I'll post more as I do them.
