Default Combo monkey calling

So Im out Sat on the lake, go to change rods, grab one off the deck and BAM- a new Catalyst PT and a fenwick HMX right in the drink 15ft water. Pretty sick feeling, I would have rather thrown it in. So off to BPS this week to replace it. Im thinking about another carbonlite combo. I have one of the reels now and seem to use it a lot.

Dang man....15 feet, I'm swimming for it.

Either that, or it's time to put the side imaging and some treble hooks to good use.

water was 54 but you can only see about 7ft down - 54 way to cold for me. plus no ladder on the boat to get back in- I maked it on the GPS maybe go back later with a buddy who is into diving.

Just tie on a big ol' treble hook with some weight and drag that spot a few times. With it only being 15' deep, you've got a good chance at dredging it back up.

I would have been swimming, figured if you jumped in right away you could probably grab it at 7-8 feet.

Heavyweight & large treble hook to the rescue. I have fished out quite a few over the years.
