first bass of 2012

well took the new boat out again tonight after work. took it to twin lakes here in paris illinois, its not easy to catch fish here bc its way over fished but i got lucky today. first bass of 2012 was a small 1 lber full of eggs but later i got a nice suprise on a small flat about 4 ft of water using a 3/8 white/chart spinnerbait it was 2.5 lbs 16 inches long, also full of eggs. water temp was 60*f

Hey, thats a sweet lookin bass ogle! Congrats! That spinnerbait you caught it on is one of my favorites.

Congrats! That's a nice looking bass. Can't wait to get my first bass of the year.. unfortuatly I have to wait until May 5th for the season to open!

thanks guys, a buddy of mine caught a 4 lb 1 oz bass from the same spot friday
