This movie is one of the best science fiction movies of ALL TIME. Finally a movie without the cookie-cutter protagonist. He's a realistic guy, full of flaws, yet redeemable and likeable at the same time. They only spent 30 million dollars on this film, mostly because they didn't buy some Hollywood megastars more Malibu beach houses with exhorbitant salaries. That and they spent their CGI effects money WISELY. I am very hard to please with movies today, yet I give this movie a well-deserved 9.5 out of 10.

ah good to hear,good to hear.....i will be seeing this soon,Im a huge sci-fi geek.
i hear a new alien(s) is on the way.....a prequel i believe.

Awesome!! I don't think I'll see it in theaters though! I'm gonna have to wait to get it on netflix!

I saw the movie last weekend and really enjoyed it. If you like sci fi I highly recommend it.
