Default all star rod warranty service

well i lost the tip top guide to my 6-10 all star big boys pitching jig rod when pete l's rod and mine tangled in the dark during a cast (stuff happens).i emailed allstar's warranty department over the weekend to tell them i would prefer if they would just send me the tip top guide instead of my sending the whole rod back.today they emailed back and said it's on it's way.this saved me all the shipping costs which i did not want to have to pay for just a stupid tip top guide.they didn't ask for proof of purchase or anything so i am very satisfied with them.

That's one of the reasons I like AllStar-they take care of their customers. I've had a couple bust and took them back to where I bought them and got them replaced no cost and no questions asked.

I would find out from them though if you are putting on the tip yourself if that is going to affect the warranty status of the rod....just to make sure. But I doubt it would, would it?
