Default My yardsale/flea market combo

So in my other posts I mentioned my pinnacle reels and I was lucky enough to pick a 7' foot mh ugly stick lite for real cheap. Uglies are not my go to pole for bass but this one is to light For cats. So would this pole paired with a 6:2:1 gear pinnacle reel be good for a flipping pitching. Idk why I got the pole bit it was cheap
Thanx

A 7' MH rod is a good jack-of-all-trades rod. If someone could buy only one rod, that's the one I would recommend. It'll work for pitching and flipping just fine. If you're in REALLY thick slop, you might need a heavy power, but the MH is fine.

I 2nd the motion. It's not the most sensitive rod in the world but it will get the job done. Thats about as close as your going to get for an all purpose rod.

Sounds like Daniel and Keith got you squared away with sound advice. I agree with them and congrats on the good deal.

I have a 7 ft med, that I texas rig with, yes medium they have more backbone than normal rods, also toss large crankbaits with it at times.Caught a 4.34 lb largemouth on it trigged recently and not overmatched.
So yours is well suited to flipping, and still a general purpose rod as limber tip.
They take abuse and are cheap comparitively even new.
