Default Warriors on the Water

The 17th of April, I'm fishing the "Warriors on the Water" tournament here in NC on Jordan Lake. If anyone out there that is a tackle maker would like to sponsor the tournament, check out the link:

This is a great cause. The basic concept is that we (being my bass club) takes a soldier (from all services, not just Army) that has been deployed to either Iraq or Afghanistan and pairs them up with a pro, semi-pro or a guy with a lot of tournament experience for a tournament. This year we have over 150 boaters signed up. If anyone is close to Ft. Bragg and wants to participate next year (Maybe you, Zooker) keep an eye out. The tournament is always around the same time. We have an ice breaker the night prior where we get to meet some pro fisherman and they give away tackle and other stuff. We had Marty Stone, Jeffrey Thomas, Scott Ray, Hank Parker and others. This is a great cause and I'm proud to be both a member of the guys volunteering to put it together and an angler. I missed the last one due to being in Iraq, but I can't wait to fish this one! Thanks for checking this out

Sounds like a great time man and a heck of an experience for all those soldiers.
