Default Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Hey everybody,
My family was talking about going down to Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina for a camping trip.... and of course no camping trip is complete without fishing... I did a little research on the place and found out there is a river going through the park... Has anybody ever fished there and any tips/types of fish/hints you could give me?

I hiked the Ap Trail thru them and every trout stream was four miles down a ravine and or cliff. I never crossed a river or I would have fished it.

It still snows hard in April there.

Welcome aboard Bassfanatic!

I believe that area is known for its trout fishing; where I couldn't be of any help.

I'm sure there will be others here willing to share some info with you.

My bad guys I wasn't able to log on for a while...
Well, anyways, I have never fished for trout before but I'm guessing that that's my best shot up there. Well, I don't know if we are still going but I'll keep you guys updated. I can't wait to start fishing again! I'm probably going to start out the year next week at the local lake. I got a good feeling about it too!
And Just so you guys know, I am frogfisher, but I just forgot the password because I didn't get on for so long due to busyness if thats a word haha
