just ogt a motor
about a week ago my mother calls and asks what i want for christmas. i tell her that i'd be intrested in getting a small trolling motor.
well i see her saturday evening and she has a cut of ad from the local paper. and there is one in there for 25 bucks. i'm thinking this is gonna be a crappy piece of rust i'm sure. but to my surprise we get over there and its a 27 lbs minn kota in nearly mint condition. a bit old but zero rust, or dings. and to top it all off he had a broken foot controlled minn kota he just wanted to get red of so i took it too for free! now i just need to get a boat. ( i might be getting a free 10 foot aluminum jon boat in a few weeks) |

Good For you friend! All you need is something to tool around on the water...
Here is my Navy: CANOE W/ MINNKOTA 30 GRUMMAN W/ 15HP TRACKER TARGA They all serve a purpose..... and the Canoe with the 30 Minnkota gets used in "No Gas Motor" lakes with BIG fish! Good luck on the Jon boat! Take care Chip Â* |

Re: just got a motor
Shoot, Chip, with all you are making from your baits I figure you would have a 20' Â*Triton by now Â* ;D
Sounds like you got a pretty good deal, pretjah |

With all I am spending LOL!!! You must spend lots of it to make a little of it! ;D
I had a Nitro until a year ago , but in my community, They have to sit in the garage...... The Targa with the folding tongue gives me 4 inches clearance in the house. The Targa is a more versatile boat up here.... Can take it on the great lakes without getting swamped in a storm.. Chip |
