Default Result of a Good Sale

A site online was running a sale last week on KVD 1.5s and I loaded up on them for only $3.80 each. Also got a few more LCs as well from the classifieds on another forum. I'm pretty much finished with the monkey for a little while.

Holy cow, terrific score. When I buy cranks it's one or two, maybe three. That is some serious monkey fever.

You gonna be repainting those KVD's or fishing them as is? Either way it was a good score. I bet you could make a good bit of change on those things if you painted them chartreuse/black back since nobody is able to find them anywhere.

WOW, I am pretty sure that the guy that bought those baits is a complete moron. I have several of the KVD 1.5 and 2.5 crankbaits and they are good baits, but that is a stupid amount of money for a $6.00 bait. I don't have any of the chartreuse/black back ones yet and I am waiting to run across some when I am placing an order for some other stuff, I can't justify spending that kind of jack on those baits. I guess he never thought of buying other colors and having them custom painted huh? After he pays for a custom paint job he would probably be close to the same dollar amount that he paid for those on ebay but he would have higher quality paint jobs and could even have it customized a little. Oh well there is a sucker born every minute.

Maybe I'm missing out but what's so special about the black back? Was that the color kvd won on?

I've never tried those strike king ones how do they compare to the luckycrafts? I have q bunch of luckycrafts and swear by those lures but find them to be real expensive cranks.

The chartreuse/black back is the color KVD won the Classic on. Just like any other bait that wins the Classic, it's now dang near impossible to find. How do they compare to Lucky Crafts? They're cheaper but that is all I can say right now. I have several Lucky Crafts and they do catch a lot of fish but I haven't thrown the KVDs enough to give an honest comparision yet. I will say that they do have a great action and they will get you bit.
