pleasure fishin today
Well my buddy bought a boat a week or so ago, its a bumble bee 178 FD with a 200 Merc EFI on it. I have done some transom work an rewired the whole boat, put new humminbirds front an rear, and rewired the trailer. Today we went to test it out an wet a line. My only two goals today was to work the bugs outta the boat, and hang into a big small mouth. I met those goals except the big part, but nonetheless it was a pretty nice smallmouth. Caught him on a bass pro viper reel with 15 lb yo zuri FC, a carbonlite 7'6 rod and a spring craw colored 3/4 oz football head jig, with a baby paca craw trailer to match. This fish came outta 15 ft of water. overall I caught 4 largemouth that were "just keepers" and this smallmouth. My buddy caught about a 8 lb hybrid this mornin on topwater. That was a lot of fun. He was swearin he had a big largemouth. I Had to remind him they were on bed. the idiot cut off my head in the pic. He prolly done it on purpose.
