Default Maiden voyage in my rig

Had the chance to take my new to me boat out to the lake saturday to prefish for a upcoming tournament. The fishing was good landed about 9 keepers and found some decent fish. I've attached some pics, the lake is a cypress filled lake, the whole lake looks like this, there is not anywhere to get any speed up (kinda disapointing was wanting to run ). I had my youngest son with me, we seen an alligator which he thought was neat, but the coolest thing of the day for him was the cropdusters. I swear those guys carry around a wheelbarrow to tote their cahonies. Flying below the treeline would make me pucker.

Glad you got the new boat out and I am glad you avoided the new boat slump. Sounds like you had a great day too.

Good trip in the new boat! I think I'd wear out the bearings in my pitchin reel with trees like that around.
