So what makes it a zombie rod? Is the tip reinforced with titanium, or unobtanium, or adamantium, so you can shove it through a zombie's eye socket and into its brain? 'Cause if it's not, I don't want one.

If it is, I GOTTA have one....

I'd hafta say yes to all the above. As we all know, nothing is more annoying than a boat load of zombies pullin up next to you on the lake.
If there's one thing I learned from playin the Resident Evil games though, a shotgun blast to the face, they don't get back up

Just be careful not to store your shotgun in the livewell!

Lol, more on topic, they are nice looking rods.

I have decided when zombies take over the Earth that I will live out of a pontoon boat with solar panels. Eating whatever fish I catch and recycling my urine for water.(I might just boil some river water for that though.

I like the look of these rods they look pretty sexy. I don't know about the reel seat, it looks heavy to me. If I needed a new flipping stick then I would probably buy one if I had the change.

The worst Idea is to take cover from Zombies in water...Zombie loose all function of the organs once ''Solanum'' takes over the brain.Making the lungs useless, making them able to walk under water.Attacks are very common in water...You best defense is to take the high ground..Since Zombies cannot process thought, the simplest task ,like climbing a ladder ,would prove to be impossible for the creature. They do not recongnize objects, and tools anymore.....Only feeding.

I did however see these rods yesterday...Very JDM looking indeed with the grip shape..Im not too big on painted reel seats, they just look plastic and cheap to me,Just my opinion....Still I bet they're good rods

I agree with what you said about painted reel seats. I also think they'd be slippery if they got wet.

Which movie was it where they were trapped in the mall, and shooting zombies from the roof?
I can see this goofy bunch we got here in that situation.
Raiding a sporting goods store, and snaggin zombies from the roof top.

Dawn of the Dead: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0363547/

Great movie. I think an AR with several thousand rounds of ammo and a 20 gauge pump shotgun would be excellent choices for mall defense.

Look awesome but anything over 6 oz is out of date by current standards.

Well my reasoning for being on the water would be that just because the zombies can walk underwater doesn't make them able to teleport 40ft from underwater into my boat. I guess if the zombie disease affects the fish, I am thoroughly screwed.

Then again if I can somehow get to Canada I hear that zombies can't operate in the cold.

Ah but you see when the human body starts decomposing..Traps gases in the stomach, such as methane and hydro sulphide, cause the stomach and organs to swell...If the gas doesnt pass through the body, then your in danger of the rare ''floating zombie''..As a zombie feeds, they do not digest,The stomach ,along with all other organs are dorment,The flesh stays trapped in the stomach blocking the intestines....As the human flesh inside breaks down, the same gasses are released with no where to go,they build up inside the zombie given some the ability to float.
This of course is if the zombie has a full intact stomach....Which is why a floating zombie is rarer.

Fish ,nor other animals, are affected by the virus Solanum...Zombies do attack animals, but they meet certain death afterwords..Solanum cannot mutate and combine with animal brain cells.
Why that would just be ridiculous

Cold weather is another myth with zombies...Its actually a bad idea to locate to cold weather...Zombies do not feel anything!!.Cold, hot, fire, knives,it doesnt matter..The cold weather actually slows down the rate of decomposition and allows the zombie to survive longer than the normal span of up to five years.
The most important thing to remember when fleeing the undead,is that zombies do not experience fatigue!!...Thats why its so important to travel light, and work on your cardio...They will never stop moving towards you until they lose track,or your dead.
Its the whole rabbit/turtle theory....
