the vmax really out preformed my expectations. it is very quiet and powerful. performance wise i dont know how much was the boat and how much was the the motor, but it really out preformed my expectations.

the vmax props or t1 were designed for that lower.. trophy uses the t1 design.. t1 are better than a trophy with that lower..

i dont know what kind of prop is on it
all it says is on the prop is "23-M"
i know that the 23 means it is a 23 pitch prop, but that is all that i know.

The 23M is a prop from Yamaha, it came on my VMax too. It ran 3 MPH faster than the 24P TR04 I have on there now, but the 4 blade is much easier to drive and handles a lot better IMO. After 2 years of A LOT of fishing in my 285, I still don't have any regrets about the boat. I took my second console out over the winter and that makes it fish a lot bigger, I think you will be happy you got a single console. If you have any questions that maybe I can help with hit me up.

That is really a sweet looking boat!
