the vmax props or t1 were designed for that lower.. trophy uses the t1 design.. t1 are better than a trophy with that lower..

i dont know what kind of prop is on it
all it says is on the prop is "23-M" i know that the 23 means it is a 23 pitch prop, but that is all that i know. can you fill me in zook?

The 23M is a prop from Yamaha, it came on my VMax too. It ran 3 MPH faster than the 24P TR04 I have on there now, but the 4 blade is much easier to drive and handles a lot better IMO. After 2 years of A LOT of fishing in my 285, I still don't have any regrets about the boat. I took my second console out over the winter and that makes it fish a lot bigger, I think you will be happy you got a single console. If you have any questions that maybe I can help with hit me up.
