Some pictures from the Classic
I finally got most of the pictures off of my cell phone uploaded to photobucket. The hard part is narrowing down all the pictures I want to post. I still have some on Britneys phone and also the camera that I might upload later but this will have to do for now.
Pictures from the launch: Fred Roumbanis Case Ashley KVD Gerald Swindle Mike Iaconelli Starting to get lighter Britney and I with the launch site in the background Rather than go to the launch again on day 2, we decided to go down to the lock that the pros were going through to get to pool 4. This proved to be one of the coolest things we did on this trip. Getting to see them come flying down river towards the lock was cool, but watching them idle out single file was awesome. When they got out of the no wake zone and took off it got crazy LOL. Here are some pics from the lock. On day 3 we took a drive down to a marina not too far down from the launch site. If you followed the classic on Bassmaster.com you probably heard them talking about McDade. Well we went into McDade and spent most of the day watching Dustin Wilks fish. This was really cool for me because I have always liked Dustin Wilks and it was cool to get this close to him while he was fishing. He actually culled twice while we were there and then came up to where we were standing and talked to us while he was fishing. If you watch the Classic on ESPN be sure and pay attention to Dustin Wilks on the water coverage on day 3. I am sure that we will be on there because when he caught a fish we would scream and clap and he would hold the fish up for us and the ESPN camera guy was shooting us. On day 3 we went back to the launch site to watch all the pros load their boats back up. This was a cool way to wrap things up, the first thing we saw was them launching and the last thing we saw was them loading up 3 days later. When it started getting closer to time for them to check in a lot of pros came in the area of the marina and fished so we got to see some more on the water action. KVD fishing by the marina. Classic champion Chris Lane Keith Poche Edwin Evers KVD Davy Hite Ott Defoe Bobby Lane Here are a few pictures that really don't fit in under any other catagory LOL. My wife Britney wanted to stop so she could go get her picture taken while she was picking cotton out of a field. Even their beer in Louisiana is Mardi Gras themed. There is nothing better than cajun seafood. Here is a Ranger boat that has been decked out with rails to take wounded soldiers fishing. Anyone who thinks of Skeet Reese like I do will find it funny that he was standing at just the right angle to turn a Dick's Sporting goods sign into a nametag LOL.

Awesome pics Kory. I wanted to be there some kind of bad. First Flea said lets go, then I had to go work in the Gulf a few days and the game plan changed. Glad y'all had a good time though.

Watched the coverage this morning. Thought of your pics when they showed the crowd at the ramp right before the launch.
Is the KVD fishing pic the first day when he ran 150 yards and started fishing??? |

Yeah it was from day one. We also have pictures from him fishing in there on the afternoon of the final day. It was cool watching that little area on the morning of day one because KVD, Aaron Martens, Alton Jones, Davy Hite, and Kevin Wirth all started in there.

We actually were on tv. On the day 3 coverage when they show Dustin Wilks fishing in McDade from the helicopter we are standing on the bank.

If you do, then pay attention to when he catches that big fish and holds it up. You can hear us cheering in the background and he is holding the fish up for us.

Thanks man, I appreciate that! I've got a year to plan on it. Hopefully nothing will come along and screw it up. I would love to get to go.
