Hmmm.....I got mine today. No clue as to who sent it, other than they addressed it to "HOT POCKET"!

Thanks Garey...I love the Gammy hooks and the Yamamoto flukes. Those mini worms look awesome too. I can't wait to try them on my drop shot rig.

Hope you like them HP. I know you are a big DS user. I sent the flukes because they are my favorite. Let me know how they work.

Thumbs up

Not sure who had my name but they did a great job. 3 of the "redfins" that we had been talking about for Table Rock plus three topwaters that have great color patterns. The pictures don't do them justice.

Great job!

So if Ryan and Kory stick a needle in their eye, I guess you'd follow right along?

So nyah nyah na nyah nyah....

Sorry, my mom used to say that to me all the time.

There was a small cardboard box in my mailbox today. But since I was late sending my package out, I'm going to wait till my recipient gets his package before I open mine.....

Guys I am sorry that I haven't been on here more lately. We are moving into the new house this weekend and I have been really busy doing some last minute honey do's. My package came in the other day and I finally gave in and opened it. My Secret Santa did an awesome job. I have yet to be the slightest bit disappointed what I have got out of any of these deals and this one was certainly no different.

The package included a -
1. Lucky Craft Pointer, which is one of my favorite jerkbaits and it is in one of my favorite jerkbait colors (Misty Shad).
2. A bag of Havoc Pitt Bosses. These baits are excellent baits for flipping and pitching, as well as carolina rigging. The color is Big Texan which is a color that I use a lot in other soft baits but haven't used yet in a Pitt Boss so I am both excited and confident in these baits.
3. Santa must have read my mind on this one. I was just thinking the other day about ordering some Yum Pumpkin Ed jigheads for deep water shaky head fishing this summer. I haven't said anything on here about them which is what makes it so cool that I got a package of them from Santa.
4. I haven't been secretive about my new found love affair with swim jigs. They have quickly replaced spinnerbaits in a lot of situations for me because they just catch a lot of fish for me. In my package was an All Terrain Tackle swim jig. I haven't used this brand before but I am really impressed with the head design and construction of this jig. The green pumpkin color will go great with the last item in the package.
5. I also got a bag of Trigger X grubs in the color Goby. These grubs with the color of the swim jig will make great bluegill immitations in the colored water on Grand Lake.

Thanks Santa you did a heck of a job!

I couldn't be happier with the stuff I got. It's all stuff I like and use. I got an XCalibur XCS 300 and KVD 1.5. Those are by the far the 2 square bills I use the most, they are in great colors too. I also got some plastics I've been waiting for my Academy to get in stock, the Big Bite Baits Jeff Kreit Shaking Squirrel worms. Roboworms are by far my favorite finesse worms and these are the closest to Robo's I've seen. I've been wanting to try them since I first heard about them. I also got some Zoom Swimming Chunks and Berkley 10" Power Worms, both great baits. Lastly, I got some 3/0 Gammy EWG's and some 3/0 Owner J-Hooks with the cutting points.

You nailed it Ken, those are all things I use or have been wanting to try out. I really appreciate it!

Well, I don't know who my Secret Santa is, be he sure knows me. Boy, was I a happy man when I opened my gift box. The Warrier Warpath Buzzbait is awsome, and in the color I like best for my buzzin needs. This neat buzzbait has a planer plate built onto the main wire shaft which will cause it to ride to the surface fast. I suspect it will help it to glide over and through weedy surface clutter better too. Next was the 1/2 oz. spinnerbait made by Pepper Custom Baits. This spinnerbait looks awsome and again in colors I love to throw. And, how did Santa know I just recently thought to myself, that I need some 1/2 oz spinnerbaits? I didn't have any! Mine are all 3/8, 1/4, and 3/4 oz. Thanks Santa for that one! I also recieved a Strike King 3XD crankbait in Tenn Shad, my favorite crankbait color. Again, how did Santa know "THAT" was the exact crankbait on my next to buy list! Very cool! I also recieved a bag of Reaction Innovation Sweet Beavers and Yum Craw Papis, both in my favorite colors for each. I love to pitch both of those baits. Just so Santa knows, I just now tied the spinnerbait, buzzbait, and crankbait to rods that I have rigged and ready to go in the morning. No doubt the Beavers and Craw Papis will see action as the day progresses. Thankyou for being so generous Santa!

My secret Santa did a phenomenal job! Got me some KVD line and lure conitioner...much needed! A spool of Suffix 40lb braid...much needed! Now I can get that freakin' P-Line CXX off of my frog rod and re-spool with the braid. A lure retriever that I'm anxious to try out, even though it is one of those things you hope to never have to use, but it does happen. A nice custom painted SPRO Crankbait! More importantly a nice hand written note showing gratitude and to a member of the US Armed Forces that means a lot! As I've always said it is my pleasure and a honor for me! Thank you for everything! Pics to follow...

I got mine. And I'm about 99% sure my Santa spent more than $25....appreciably more. I meant to post a pic of my stash, but keep forgetting. Maybe tonight....
