Default Have you used this jack?

I'm thinking about purchasing one of these jacks. It looks about as simple and quick as can be to use. But things aren't always as they seem. I thought with all the boat owners in the forums, someone has to have one. I have a 12 foot jon so obviously, I don't need anything heavy duty. This I would think would fit the bill nicely. What's your opinion?

Do you mean as you drive the trailer forewards onto the jack?

They are considered a quick jack or a quick way, notorious for falling off, takes very level ground.I use and carry a flat hydraulic jack, beats a mickey mouse any day and that, kind of like my hooves as is.More or less a gimmic.
Even level ground if you dont loosen quite enough the torque will push it off,if attempting to break a nut loose.
Useage-very carefully-hopefully with someone elses hands.

I think he means it looks really easy to go a teensy bit too far when driving up onto it, so that instead of stopping at vertical, it rolls over and the trailer falls off of it. I agree that it looks that way, but I have zero experience with them, so I may be way wrong.
