Default Dag Gum Monkey

The monkey strikes again... he scored me for a couple hundred at the store today... a ton of gambler ace 5" Senko Style Baits, 20 Rapala DT's, Two Strike King Series 1's, and two bulk boxes of Ohio Pro Lures Tube Heads... I swore I was done buying for the year until spring... The local sporting goods store had a bucket sale (5 gallon bucket, anything fishing related 30% off if it is in the bucket and you get to keep the bucket with a $50 purchase.) Well lets just say I got a stack of buckets in the garage! It was a great day...

Yeah, when I find a really solid deal on fishing tackle that is actually namebrand, I buy it up, usually clearing the shelf off... for example all of the Shaw's Pro Series Plastics from Strike King were on clearance at my local Dick's Sporting Goods for 68 cents a bag... I bought 35 bags for like $25 with tax, turned around and sold them the next day for $50... can't complain with results like that... but all of this stuff in the picture is stuff that I actually needed ... well it was a good addition to my bag any how. Those Gambler Ace 5" Senko Style worms are my go-to for the Senko style baits, and they were only $1.40 a bag SO...........

I've heard of people having problems with the lips on DT's but I have only broken 1 DT-6, so I guess I've been lucky, knock on wood!!

See that's your problem right there, knocking them on wood. That ain't gonna bust them up. You got to find you some bridge pilings, rip rap, and quikrete walls to smack them on. Maybe against a Southbay pontoon on a dock with steel pilings might get you some results too.

Dang. The Bait monkey didn't slap you, he spanked you. In the words of Michael Jackson, "You've been struck by a smooth criminal." Can't go wrong with the DTs.
