DEbass'n, Florida won out the toughest schedule in college football, in the toughest conference. and thats not just my opinion thats fact. i dont see how Michigan deserves a shot in the National Champ game when they havent played many highly respectable teams other then Ohio State.
Florida will win by a touchdown. They've showed up to play all year, whather it be pretty or not they got the job done. Florida has a better defense then Michigan did. It deffinitely wont be a blowout by Ohio State it should be a close and good game either way.

Ohio State has been the team to beat all year. They held up and went end to end as #1. Fl played the toughest schedule in college football. Fl does need to step up it's game. They can't afford the 3rd quarter nightmare that has happened all season. If OSU gets more than 2 touchdowns ahead I don't think Fl can get it back. If they stay close I feel Fl's #1 defense will step up and keep it close or win it. I predict Fl by 3.

Patriots move up in the seed rankings! Just need the Ravens, Colts, and Chargers to lose some games and the Pats to keep winning and they can grab a #1 or #2 seed for the playoffs.
And with a schedule like the Dolphins, Jacksonville, Houston and Tenessee, that could very well happen. |

I'm gonna predict Florida in a close game. They haven't had the landslide victories over other teams this year. But they had the hardest schedule and have managed to pull out every game they come to play in. I'm looking for a florida win, but won't be suprised if it goes either way.

No kidding skeeter... need to stop fumbling the ball.
If the Patriots keep this up they'll still make the playoffs but will lose the Wild Card or Divisional Weekend to a team that executes better. IMO San Diego is still the team to beat. They're only getting better as the season goes on... right now I don't see the Ravens, Colts, Patriots, or anyone else beating the Chargers. They are incredible on both offense and defense, and have the best offensive line and running back combo in the game. |

I agree the Chargers are the team to beat, but did you know that there is 25 teams still MATHEMATICALLY in the hunt for the playoffs. It is going to be a good last three weeks. A lot of teams are going to need some help, my Dolphins included. They always seem to play good enough in the second half of the season to get a lower first round pick and not good enough in the first half to make the playoffs. It doesn't look like this year is any exception.

The Dolphins have a lot of talented players, no doubt. Their weakness is teammwork IMO.
Patriots can clinch the division with a win and Jets loss. A #4 seed most likely just like last year. But who knows? Every year they get a first-round bye, they make it to the Superbowl and win. The Steelers surprised everyone last year when the #6 seed won the Superbowl, so who knows. In the playoffs, anyone can win if they execute well. The Patriots: 1. Need Rodney Harrison back. A lot. 2. Need to stop fumbling 3. Laurence Maroney would be awesome 4. Chad Jackson would be awesome. |

Put all of those 4 things together... good things happen.
AFC East clinched... beating a good-at-home Jaguars team. What a bizarre year in the NFL... |

It was a great game... The Pats' offensive line is healthy and giving some great blocks for screen passes and rushes...
Now with the secondary being a little more healthy, the defense can really step up. They've got that great rush defense and pass rush too. That said, every other playoff team in the AFC is really good too. The Colts have that electric offense, the Broncos have that great defense, the Ravens a great defense as well, and the Chargers are all-around balanced. Do you think the Pats will try hard to win this sunday? A #3 seed over a #4 seed is really no big deal... I think Belicheck will play the starters for a quarter or two but then bring the second-stringers in. |

The jags are a joke. I can't figure 'em out. Beating Pittsburgh, Ny, and miami, and losing to the texans(twice), titans and New England.

Playoff predictions for wild-card weekend:
1. Kansas City vs. Indy It will be the Colt's electric passing game vs. the Chief's exceptional running game. Can the Colts run defense do anything against Larry Johnson who works with a great offensive line? I think Peyton Manning and his receivers will make it close, but in the end it will come up just short. Kansas city wins 35-31 2. New York (Jets) vs. New England The Jets have a good passing unit, and the Patriots' secondary might be missing both of their starting safeties. Both teams have decent running units and will seek to control the game clock, but in the end the Patriots win the turnover battle and the game. Patriots win 21-17 3. New York (Giants) vs. Philadephia Everyone counted the Eagles out of the race when McNabb went down, but Jeff Garcia proved everyone wrong. The Eagles can pass, run, and play defense. The Gaints are banged up, and although Tiki Barber is a great running back, can he make up for the mistakes of Eli Manning? I doubt it. Eagles win 28-14 4. Dallas Cowboys vs. Seattle Seahawks Dallas has a poor pass-defense, and the Seahawks have a good quarterback and line of receivers. Although my former favorite receiver Deion Branch had a rough year, I think he'll make some big plays and get key first downs. Also, the Seahawks are tough to beat at home. And don't tell me that Terrible Owens will lead the Cowboys. Seahawks win 31-24 Let's see how well I do. Post your own predictions, I'm interested as to what others think. |
