Default How to get out on the water - CHEAP.

My dad is slowly working on the boat and while he is, I need a way to get out on my local waters for extremely cheap. I have a motor/trolling motor. Maybe an intertube? Doesn't seem like too much fun. A canoe? A cheap one for like $200? I don't know. There has got to be some way. How can I do it?

I'll bet if you look around where you live you'll find somebody with a jon boat flipped over in their yard that hasn't seen water other than rain in 5 or 6 years. You could probably pick one up for cheap if you asked them if they were willing to sell.

Intertubes arent as easy as they look.

Used kayaks or canoes, you can pick up a jon boat for 200 if you look.

Try this :

I have bought four so far and donated them to CCA MD Chapters.

They make a trolling motor braket for them.
