Default skunked again

well went out this afternoon for a couple hours and caught 2 bass in 4 hours about 20 minutes out a bunch of swimmers showed up and started splashing around so my friend and I started circling the pond we hit every area of cover and structure I could find to no avail we finally called it a night when a pesky copper head started poking around the log i was standing on . I tried poking at em with my rod and the dang snake just would go away so we gave up for the night , and Saturday will be another day

You caught fish, I wouldn't call that a skunk. Kudos...

Jim,

Sorry you had a bad trip, but it WAS better than anything else (wellll, there is one thing...never mind!) you might have been up to.
'Bout that snake...Leave him alone! He's there on God's orders and has a place in the world. Of course, if he poses a REAL threat, and you can't safely disengage, that's another matter.
Better luck next time.
