Default Ball Bearings...

I have a question that I never really though of before - you know how reels are advertised with a number of ball bearings, be it 4, 6, 9 or whatnot - well, in the reels with 9 bearings where are they are located? Cause I can count 2 or 3 in most reels on the spool shafts, and maybe on the handles - where are they sticking these bearings and do they even do anything?

WTL, Is there no other more pressing issues you could apply your agile mind to? If not, I've got a couple, one about a chicken and an egg and another about trees falling in the forest...

Well Hog, we could talk presidential politics, but I can see no greater waste of my brain power than to spend it on those idiots.

No bearings will have to do.

I like watching the three stooges.

All that is missing from the debates from the remaining 3 candidates, is the slaps and nuck, nuck, nuck sounds.

WTL, I agree. Keep talkin' about bearing if it floats your boat.

Other than repeatedly banging said brain into proverbial wall you are probably right... Ball Bearings are far more interesting and productive. Remember 10 months ago when we felt hopeful about the upcoming election? seems like a lifetime ago now...

Did no one get the Fletch reference? classic Chevy Chase movie...

If you're talking politics - Ron Paul... Incidentally a guy not too far from my house still has his Ron Paul sign on the lawn!

If you're talking life in general, I would hope you are hopeful each and everytime you climb into the boat!

William, The bearing count can result from the handle as well.F***ed if I know where the hell they come up with the number of bearings they advertise because I cannot find them in the reels either. ICY Bird
