cherrywood rods
hey i was at the local kmart yesterday and picked up 3 cherrywood rods that were on clearence for $10 a piece , got a 6' mh casting , a 6'6" mh casting and a 6'6" mh spinning not bad for $30 bucks

jim80 that is a GREAT DEAL. i paid 30 somethig just for 1. i got 2 of them and really like em alot.

these will be my first cherrywoods but i have used and liked the lighting rods so i don't think there will be any reason for me not to feel the same for the new rods . i was hoping to get out and fish them today but i got out of work to thunder storms after it being sunny all day . oh well i'll just have to go tomorrow

Right on! I have an cherrywood spinning rod and must say is it awesome bang for the buck. Congratulations on what you scored.

yeah no complaints on the price from me , i also picked up a pinnacle lp100c baitcaster and another abu garcia ambassuduer for two of the rods and am currently looking for a new spinning reel for the third .

Dollar For dollar there not bad rods. I have one. But i would proably spend alittle more for the ugly stick on any future purchases. You gotta love a 7 year warranty. Some of the big bucks rods don't offer that.
