Default motorguide pro 70#

bps has the motorguide pro #70 on sale for $399.the motorguide comes with the gator flex mount.Which mount is better, the gatorflex or the gator breakaway.I was reading the bps reviews on the gator flex and there were nothing but problems with them.Or should i just buy it for the price and hope nothing happens, motorguides have a two or three year warranty.I can always change the mount later.right now i have the original motorguide 42#on my 97 skeeter ss90.If i buy it ,do you think the new motor will fit on the old mount, both of them are 45in long? The question is do i buy it? p.s 1 fastlazer whats the answer. thanks in advance bassdreamer.

i think i have the fles on mine. it is kinda hard to get used to at first. i have always used the standard ones in the past. my problem is when it gets under or flexes, you have to just about pull up the troller to get it right again. i may be doing it wrong, i dunno.
