Three weeks ago we had snow. Then last weekend it was topped 100 degrees here for three days. Snow was melting, filling lakes with muddy water but the fishing was pretty good.

Then a storm came in and it dropped from 104 into the high 30's in two days. It was the kind of change that makes your old sports injuries hurt.

I imagine that when I feel it, the fish feel it as well. I'm done hurting and it's been 4 days since the sudden drop. The temp has rose back into the 60's. For those that track this type of thing, ....would the bite most likely be on again by now?

How long are fish affected by the change in barometer?

Once the barometric pressure stabilizes it is usually a couple of days before the shallower fish to really get back on the bite. Deeper fish (15' (+) are less affected by the baro and will turn on sooner.
