Default ifin the fluke fits question

i was fishing a well known ledge with a deep crankbait. i hung a wad of line -braid-on the end of the braid was a buzzbait.. nothing great yet right? but rigged on the buzzbait was a paddle tailed fluke..

the bait resembled a zoom super fluke in the front eyes on top, a beer belly holding a hook pocket, and in lenth. but the tail was a paddle..
my first thought was "whoo hoo free buzzbait"..then once i looked at the "perfectly" rigged fluke i thought "hmm thats a new one."

after i got home i took a long careful look at the buzzbait. it is tapered titanium wire with a single gold 2 blade buzzer and clacker..i like it already.. the trailer hook was rigged with a round piece looks like it was punched from coffee can lid.. the main hook is an ultra point trailer is a mustad.i have found the buzz bait on line but....

now comes the question. has anyone heard of a injection moulded fluke with a paddle tail?? it did not have the trade mark softness custom baits would have. the softness feel matches any big batch plastic company..

oh yeah i just HAD to try it.. and caught 3 bass foolin around with it..i want to build another the fluke has torn..i pretty much searched most of my "known" tackle prodoucers and come up empty..which is why i am asking you all..

My guess is that it is a Gambler bait.

Body wise, the YUM houdini shad is the closest I've seen to a Fluke, but the tail is a bit different.

But I'd guess that or the Gambler flappnshad.

Any pics Zook?

To be honest I've only fished it once, I just dont have much confidence in spinnerbaits for some reason. It does look good, has plenty of weight to cast a mile. If i ever catch some fish schooling on small baitfish it will be my go to bait.

I work as a eyelet/progressive toolmaker in a factory up here we do mostly medical and automotive parts but we have a few random jobs that come through every now and again . Can't wait to see the tool that makes them though it'll be fun to work on .
