believe it or not my best crankbait rod is a Guide Series glass rod from Gander Mountain. Caught alot good monticello fish on it, it'll sling them a mile, and so far the guides have held up great with the braid. I've had mine for years.

I use an older kISTLER 7' medium and love it.During the whitebass run it is my go to with a trap and it cast's great.I think you might try a glass rod like Mont said.I don't use many deep deep divers.

I use Gary Yamamoto rods for cranking. The medium and medium heavy handle treble hook lures better than any rod I have ever had.I use the Heavy for pitching jigs but the medium action rod is hands down my favorite of the 3 actions I have. Ivan
