Gran Torino isnt just entertaining, its a pretty deep story when you start to dissect the Christ-like actions of Clint Eastwood as the film progresses. I heard of one fundamentalist church that played it for their old bluehairs- f bombs and all.

Currently I'm watching the John Adams series again. Great miniseries, even if the history is off in a few details.

"Greater love has no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."

I knew as soon as I saw the trailer for it it was going to be a good one. Something about Clint Eastwood...great actor/director. I saw it for the first time this weekend, and I was very impressed. That is an excellent movie.

The last 2 days I've watched:

Enemy of the state
Air force one
and Ransom

Ransom had so potential, but kinda sucked I give it a 6.9 out of 10! Enemy of the state was great, probably up there with my favorite movies of all time 10 out of 10, air force was a pretty badass too, I give it 8.5 out of 10

I also watched transformers 2, I give it an 8... pretty badass, but not one of the 10 badasses!

Public Enemies

Let's just say that was the biggest waste of $10. I wouldv'e rather put a lighter to my ten dollars and gotten more entertainment.

Public Enemies- loved it, going to it again
Transformers 2- loved it, going to it again
The Hangover- Hillarious, but not something to see twice in theaters.
Taking of Pelaham 123- Good movie, denzel washington and John travola.

that sums it up for the past week or so.

I just saw Transformers 2...Michael Bay is the second worst working film director on the Planet (Uwe Boll is the worst, but at least he doesn't make 250 million dollar turds). But I already knew he was terrible and went to see it anyway, guess it's my own fault.

Robots farting, tons of unnecessary cursing and crudity, racial stereotype robots. I bet Michael Bay LOVED Jar Jar Binks, because he certainly copied the whole annoying sidekick thing.

Most notable one was Gran Torino. One of my favorites for sure. Otherwise, no other movies really.

You'd seriously go to a movie in the theater twice? I go to a movie ONCE about every 5 years

What are u talking about man, i don't seem to remember you being bashed or bothered by anyone here unless you took something the wrong way or you are just trying to stir up trouble. I don't think that we really do penalize people for their choices around here .

I very rarely go. 1 month of netflix is the price of 2 theater matinees. Plus the drive-in has 2 movies for the price of 1 in the theater and I take my own food and drink in
