Default Minn Kota Tech tip, Transom trollers.

I love my Endura Max Transom mount trolling motor I recently purchased. I did have one concern that I wanted to share for those who may purchase and Minn Kota transom mount trolling motor.
I found that the height adjustment collar, once loosened, does not easily want to slide up and down. Slight prying allows it to slide easily, but I knew this wasn't standard operating procedure. So I called Minn Kota tech assistance to see if this was normal, or if something was wrong with my collar. He assured me this is a common condition that is easily corrected. In fact, he said this step is done to the motors before factory shipment, but it may have been a missed step by them with my motor.
Simply take a can of Endust furniture polish and spray it on a rag, and wipe down the shaft. That gives it all the lubrication it needs. I'm sure any furniture polish will work. Other lubricants can cause it to become too slippery. That's your Minn Kota tip of the day.

And the wife LOVES THE LEMONY FRESH SCENT...

I didn't edit anything, I didn't have to... and only YOUR mind can make something from this that may not (or may) have been intended... I think I need to go fishing, cabin fever y'know.
