Well, that was an exercise in futility. Gave up and made kawfee.
 Somehow, though, as my various and esteemed fishing partners will bear witness, I always l manage to stay focused when on the water..."One more cast!" I hope that trait prevails today. We'll be launching about forty-five minutes before sunrise and will likely keep at it until the &%^$#! lake lice drive us off the water. We've been averaging about nine hours on the water during recent trips and that's fairly likely today. Damned insomnia, Damned dreams of events and persons past! Grumble...mumble...mutter... We got 14-I think that is right. They came on a variety of baits-topwater, 4" ringworms, finesse jigs and spinnerbaits. Most were dinks, but we did get 3-4 keepers.

I've been there too. Hate insomnia. And then sometimes, I can't sleep and I start downing beers to help, only to miss my intended wake up time the next day because I'm still drunk.
Alcohol is a hell of a drug.

I always get in during full moon cycles, I'll sleep a couple of hours and then wide awake for about 3-4 hours.
