personally, ive fished em all. and I didnt like any of em. So I made my own, and I now sell quite a few of them. My main pro staffer brian (Wareagle) was and still is hammerin fish on em.
I havent caught anything on the original rad lures ones, and a few fish on another knock off, and ive had great luck with mine. http://www.mymomisbecky.com |

i like the booyah boogie baits.i replace the snap with a split ring because i throw them on a rod with braid and a snap on it.the split ring attachs to the snap on the braided line.yes, they do catch fish.

this may be a dumb question, but what is a chatter bait? I've never heard that term before.

Not a dumb question at all, Keith. A Chatterbait:
Didn't want the whole ad, but... It is basically a jig with a blade on the front. It has a real tight wiggle when it comes through the water. It feels like a lipless crankbait and had a great action. There are a number of brands out now-kind of like the Senko craze-but they do catch fish.

So I assume that you fish these like a jig? Kind of looks like a jig spinnerbait combo so I wasnt sure how to fish them.

I dont fish them like a jig, or a spinnerbait. I think you can make them do their own thing. Pump the rod up and down, make it swim erratically, which triggers strikes. Experiment with em, you will catch more fish

Buy them all and test them out. Then give us a report as to which one is the best LOL. I'm guessing they all will catch fish, and some better than others. I have a couple, and really don't fish them much. They aren't a do all bait, and it's definately not a magic bait by any stretch of the imagination. I bought the original, just to try them out, not really expecting anything great, and my expectation were right on. It has a very erractic action, which I do like, but you can make any bait erratic with your retrieve. So when your all done testing, come back and give us a report LOL. I said it "DURING" the Classic, on this board, the manufacturer just couldn't get any better advertising than it being the #1 talked about bait during the tourney. I bet the guy could've caught those fish on other baits as well, but he didn't use other baits(at least not that we know). Do you remember why the Beaver became so popular? Yes they catch fish, but a big money tourney was won with them, so of course it's gotta be a great bait right. Same thing here, other things will and do catch fish, this one is just in the spotlight right now. Wait until next year it will be something different. And KVD still keep being one of the best anglers out there, and he didn't do it by using 1 bait or 1 technique now does he.

Lizards, you are absolutely correct! I am sure that his sponsor "Strike King" wasn't very happy when KVD won the Pittsburgh Classic with a discontinued Smithwick. |

So have I, but I have a lake where nothing works, and if this bait is anything like they say it is, I should be catching 10 lbers every cast But seriously, I will buy one and try it, just because I beleive that you should try everything, every way, everywhere.
