2 Time Champions!
Yesterady, we fished the 2nd Annual American Fallen Heroes Tournament out of West Harbor in Port Clinton, Ohio on Lake Erie. We fish this tournament as a memorial of SSG Shannon Smith who died in Afghanastan a couple of years ago, and half of money gets paid back to the tourney while the other half went to a scholarship fund in memory of SSG Shannon Smith.
Last year we ended up winning, and this year we had a repeat performance. 3rd cast of the morning I got big bass a 4.95 smallmouth on a Strike King 5XD crankbait and through the day we were able to cull our way up to 22.18 lbs. Rest of the fish were caught on a Poor Boy's 3.5" Tube in Mango Magic. It was a very close weigh in, as 3rd had 21.95 lbs., 2nd had 22.08 lbs., and we won it with 22.18 lbs! We are coming of a recent win with another local club last weekend, so we have it going on right now! But I was so psyched about winning both of the American Fallen Heroes Tournament! Couple of pics below... Ryan

I know almost nothing about Hockey, but isn't 3 times a hat-trick or something?
