Default Secret hole number 178

Took a friend down to one of my favorite spots quite serene and calm.

We caught three keepers 15-16 in out in that deep water every bit of 3 ft
so moved in to the the shallow jungle

payed off nicely one is 22 1/4 and chunky other a mere plain 22 in fish.

13 1/2 pds two fish
what else but a pink bubblegum double barrel bass buster.
Pink in the pads and under bridges

Good looking fish Mule...can't help but notice that they both appear to be wearing tinted contacts?

No I have a fish fry when my friend comes in,they fit the criteria over 15 in less than 8 lbs and without eggs, over 8 or with eggs they go back. And yes released several,as had eggs or appeared to.Late bloomers?
I dont keep them often, and think a bit George Perry kept his 22pd bass and yes ate it.

Hey I had bass for supper Sat.

Cut fillets into small 2" squares
Soak in buttermilk overnight in fridge
mix 1/2 pancake mix 1/2 all-purpose flour
drop squares in mix then deep fry in hot peanut oil until golden
dip in cocktail sauce
slap someone's granny

Actually it was warmer just prior to you coming, then came just after a cold front lake dropped 9 deg in a week just now getting back mid seventies, spawn however is long over.
Those were resident fish.
It does however prove the fish were there, often I dont how to wake them up.Horny toads ,buzzbaits small fish ,1 on a crankbait mine(big 2) on a deps soft belly basirisky no longer made.Every time you jerk it looks like a 2 lb bass just ate something there.White pink wings yes pink only 1 came with a double barrel bass buster.
And while spro is a good brand they dont work well in the pads here exception at times a poppin frog,it works like a charm on main lake grass if present spro jr in black.Due to lack of main lake grass of late and having to squeeze the things out ive about given them up.Id give 20 dollars however for a pink one, they dont makem.
