Good day!
Had a good day today!
Went to the dock to cast a little bucktail spinner with my little brother and dog for what ever felt like hitting, bream, crappies, pike, bass, it didn't matter. Probably got about 3 hours time out there. Never caught anything but it felt GREAT to get out on the water, and just relax, listen to the birds, and fish. I was half expecting not to catch anything anyway. Can't wait till I can target some bass, just 14 more days! Came home to the first barbecue since Dixie. Some smoked turkey, coleslaw, yella rice, and sweet tea (take that biggins! ). Pile it on some fresh buns and you're just south of heaven! Can ya'll believe sloppy joes are considered barbecue up here!? Anyhoo, had a great day, felt like bragging... sorta!

Couldn't imagine living somewhere with a closed bass season, that has to suck. As far as the BBQ goes, I'm from KC so there is no shortage of it around here!

Not exactly sure, Embrey. Although 3-4 months of the closed part, there's ice on the lakes
