Hey there fellow Washingtonian! It might be just you and me here at this sight. I mentioned this in your other thread, but I am just north of you in the Seattle area.
I am relatively new to bass fishing and have yet to catch a bass on a spinner or buzz bait, let alone a jig/pig. I just added not too long ago a Shimano MH Crucial to just that situation some time soon. Are you a member of some local forums?

WELCOME DAVE!!! Come on in and feed these bass junkies! Make yourself at home. As far as the reel goes your options are wide open. You will get alot of opinions on this...........so I'll start..hehe My favorite two reels for pitchin/flippin would be the AC500PT or the PT860XM if you can find them. They are older models, but they work great. You'll find a vast range of experience on this site, but always helpful. Kevin, JB, PNJ, Lizards, Reb and more won't steer you wrong. We might not all agree on which is the best brand (cough*QUANTUM*cough), but everyone in here is great. Kick off your shoes and stay awhile. Good luck w/ the tourneys.

Welcom to the forums! First and foremost, please fill out your profile.
Go to a bait/tackleshop, and look at a bunch of reels. Pick the one YOU like best.
