Default BPS Spring Fishing Classic

Looks like they have some pretty good deals starting the 26th.
Not sure if the same deals are chain wide or not but XPS hard baits are all 25% off, Kermy frogs are $3.94, Bomber Square As are $2.24...these are deals at the Vegas store, maybe more

Have you used any of the XPS baits? I love the Extreme Floating Nitro Minnows in Silver Shad and Chrome Clown.
I'm also gonna try the XPS Tri Vibe Lipless Crank and the XPS Slim Dog

I have used the lipless cranks and really like them. They have a profile kind of like the excaliber.
Also Tried the floating minnow with no luck but I only fished them a couple times.
I want to try the kermy frogs, they look just like the spro frogs and less than half the price. The spro frogs have done well for me.
I will also stock up on my soft plastics to.

Yeah I'm gonna grab a Kermy or 2 for sure. Really should buy 1/2 a dozen at that price

My friend in Al went to see the day 2 classic weight in and the fishing show. He had a great time, and even saw Dean Rojas on the way!

I'm gonna see if we can go to the one down in Ft. Lauderdale, or Orlando... I'd be awesome!

Gonna try and fish the bass tourney for the orlando store. 50 boats, 5 payout places, 5 grand for 1st place. That would be nice baitmonkey fodder.

At nashvilles BPS all LC pointers are 25% off and also all Zoom baits. Some stike king jigs are 25% off as well as any BPS made lure.

No I don't. I was gonna order a Pro Qualifier but they went off sale.
I really need to make a list of their reels to check out in store

I see the XPS tungstin weights are on sale. I think I might check those out. Allways used TruTungstin before. I have a few of their XPS hardbaits and so far havn't had much luck with any of them. But that could be because I have more faith in some of the other brand hardbaits I use and don't really give them the time to produce I give the others. I see they are going to have the Lowrance X135 depthfinder on sale for $199.00, normally $399.00. From what I have read in here, I was going to stear away from Lowrance and stick with Hummingbird, but this sounds like a heck of a deal on this unit so I'm going to check it out too.

I've never used anything but their "suspending" jerkbaits. They suspend like a rock... tied to a brick... in a bucket of concrete. Kinda made me hesitant about their other baits.

Interesting. use TT when I use tungsten as well. They're more expensive, but I think they're the best on the market. They have the highest percentage of tungsten in their weights and don't have the plastic tubing inside of them. I actually need some more 3/16 and 1/4 oz tungsten weights. I'll look at BPS's but I'll probably just go with more TT.

One thing they don't have is the TT Flippin' Weights. I love those things in 1/2oz of for pitching chigger craws and brush hogs.

I had the same experience but they're cranks and spinnerbaits work fine for me! LOVE the hooks too!

The pro qualifier is a sweet reel.
As far as for the money you can't beat the extreme reel.
My dad has like 10 of them he like em so good, I have 3.
I have revos, quantum energys and some other pricey reels.
You can get the extreme on sale for like 60 bucks and I promise you will be amazed.

Oddly enough, when i was in there the other day, i didn't think to check em out.
Then again, I was staggering away from the Nitros with a dazed look on my face

Haven't used the suspending models but the floaters have landed me a lot of fish.

since KVD won, all orders over $100 have basic shipping at $1 for the next 6 days... which is 2 weeks in a row now. They did the same thing after the Nascar win.

I got screwed, if I would have added a few more cheaper items to put me just over $100, I could have gotten more items for the same price with the $1 S&H, instead of fewer items with higher shipping....

That's why I never order from BPS or Cabela's online unless the sales are REALLY good, like enough to cover shipping and still save me enough money to make it worth it. It helps having both less than 30 minutes away too.
